1. brotzeit german bar & restaurant.

i have heard many good comments about this place and decided to go with friends to give it a try. the restaurant is not too busy, we do not need to queue up for a table, that’s good.

we ordered a cold platter and brotzeit platter to share among the four of us. cold platter has 4 different types of ham, with vegetables. brotzeit platter has a fried pork knuckle, assorted sausages, pork schnitzel and 2 side dishes - we picked wedges and braised german white cabbage.

overall, the food is kinda salty, especially the ham and sausages. the food taste good but there’s too much fried and grilled stuff, makes us stuffed in no time. we managed to finish everything, just chat a lot while enjoying the food.

the ambiance is okay, but the service is not so good as waiters are not very responsive and some of them have a frowned face for the entire night. it’s kinda pricey to dine here considering the food are just okay.

i don’t think i like it that much to come back again, oh well, it’s hard to say… i do hope they improve in the future, especially on the service.
